For many years, libraries have not received proper attention. In most institutions, collections are outdated and not replenished, there are no renovations, modern furniture, or equipment. A New Generation Library is part of the national project "Culture," under which hundreds of libraries across Russia are updated annually

The 2023 annual report of the "New Generation Library" project presents the results in clear and colorful infographics, maps, and illustrations. The report showcases how 230 libraries across Russian regions have been transformed, details the budget allocation, book collection acquisitions, and highlights of 2023

A separate section of the Annual Report describes the outcomes of the projects included in the 'Next Generation Library' initiative. These range from talent concentration points “The Genius of a Place” (a dedicated annual report for this project is available here), to the mobile reading app NEB Light

The report includes a large 60x60 cm map marking all the libraries opened in 2023 as part of the project

All libraries opened as part of the project are thoroughly described and illustrated in a separate section of the Annual Report, along with brief overviews of the regions where they are located

The final result is a carefully designed layout that visually represents the outcomes of the "New Generation Library" project. It ensures the annual report is easy to understand and leaves a lasting impression on the recipient

The 2023 Annual Report of 'Next Generation Library' was recognized by the RAEX rating agency among nonprofit organization reports. It received a 5-star rating and won in the special category 'Best Annual Report of Nonprofit Organizations'
